The day on which the Church observes the visitation of the infant Jesus by the three Magi/Kings/Wise Men. Tradition holds that their names were Melchior, Caspar, and Balthazar. In some cultures (Spain, for example) children receive their holiday gifts on Epiphany—presents from the Wise Men, which… makes some sense.
